Shoot to Kill!

Much of the issues we deal with and spend our time trying to change in us is just what sits on the surface of our lives. Much of the behavior that bothers us so much and causes us so much grief heartache, anguish, and struggle is not what needs most of our attention. What does however is what lies beneath the surface...at the roots... What we act out in our everyday lives is reflective of what exists on the inside of our hearts...no excuses and no questions about it. We can liken it all to a weed that grows in a garden or in the midst of a beautiful lawn. We can attack the weed by pulling it up and cutting away what we see, and get a temporary relief from the ugliness of it's bloom...However within a very short time, because the root has not been attacked, we will see a much stronger more putrid looking weed spring forth in the same location. Since we merely gave attention to the surface attribute of the weed, we actually provided new life to the nasty Weed, and our beautiful lawn and garden will pay for it dearly...Make sure u kill the Roots! Deal with the virus not the symptons!!

(Hint: It's more than likely a heart and mind thing.)
