Who are you Blocking from the Love of God?

People can be cruel, judgemental and down right nasty at times. There is a tendency of some to forget their own past and take the platform that seems to imply that they are free of any mistakes. They forget that only yesterday, they were held in the clutches and grips of failures, sins, and degradation only to have someone stop by with a word of hope to bring them up and out. Furthermore, they may forget that after recieving such great reconciliation, they found themselves again trapped and fallen into yet again more disgrace....yet the love of God continues to show them mercy and faithful unmerited favor. God seems to recieve them and accepts them...and therefore, who are you or I to turn them away and or look down upon them as if to count them out. We have not the right nor the privilege to do such a thing and we must daily recall the grace of God upon our own lives...for it is still His breath we breathe and His strength and power that gives us movement. Repentance and confession brings restoration to fellowship with God...stop trying to block the embrace of the Lord. the Word declares....NOTHING shall seperate us from the Love of God...maybe just from the love of people. Whatchu say?

It's not in Vain....

you may never know the real affect that you have on people. Your smile, your touch, your words, your song, or your cards are just the thing that causes someone somewhere to experience love and compassion that sustains life for them. DO not count it lightly because a life saved is a soul saved. I encourage you to continue to love out loud and to be the best you that we've ever seen. It's not in vain!

Hear My Cry Oh God...

Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. - Psalm 61

Lord, today (this day) I thank you for paying attention to the pleas and cries of your people. We are people who hunger and thirst for you in this dry place. We long to know your presence in a real way. We ask of you to show us your glory, and to see your glory we humble ourselves and shed the fleshly and carnal attitude we've carried for so long. We have tried our way and have failed so many times. You and you alone can fill the void in our lives. We are empty and lifeless without you oh God. We cry unto you now to heal our hearts and to cause us to know your love, peace and joy. We have forsaken the the ways of this world, cause we hunger more for you. Forgive us now and restore unto us the joy of thy salvation. We thank you for always being our covering and protection, and giving us the miracle of life and restoration. We receive your healing, strength, love, peace, and joy. Thank you Lord.

Sisters.....10 Wonderful Ways to Express Your Love to Him - Part 1 (Take a Look)

Okay, yeah I know us brothers at times may have slighted you in the area of expressing our love creatively, but there is always more than one approach to getting what u want right. So I solicit to you that one way of sparking the expression of Love u desire in your life, and home is to be the initiator of such unselfish giving. You'll be surprised how much of an impact it will have in changing your life and bringing about the change you desire in your relationship. These are real simple, yet effective ways to make a difference. Give em a try.

1. After you use his car, fill the tank with gasoline.

2. Watch Him Work Out with Weights

3. Learn as much as you can about His Work

4. Make a tape recorded Love Letter for him

5. Fight the urge to call Him ten times a day...and win!

6. Leave his razors and tools alone

7. Decide that if he does a portion of the household chores that you
will not criticize the way he does them

8. Do not assume that all men are handy with tools. Do not expect him
to be able to do everything your father could. His father may have never
taught him how.

9. Purpose not to brag about your rich or smart relatives.

10. Never talk derogatorily or in bitterness to your children about your husband.

There are so much more that can be shared, just as you may have things you desire. In this quest to grow and to enjoy better marriages and relationships, I believe one of the most significant keys to it's success is unselfish giving to one another. That is all this is. Be willing to try and expect results. It's normally the small things that make the difference. Have fun and Enjoy.
