The life you live and the thing you do as you live it must be different than those around you who have not given their hearts to the Lord. It is Christ in u that makes the difference and causes men's heart to turn to Him.
"But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses."

So With That The Light Is Reference To Life And The World Is Reference To Dark AKA Death So In Order for The Life Of Light To Be Seen Where There Is Death We Must Shine AKA Live Our Lives In A Way That Is Pleasing To God And So That Which Is Dark Or Death May See It And Want To Come To Know Your God AKA Life!
